Age Recommendations

Hi Guys,
It’s Wednesday and you know what that means! Age Recommendations. Right, let’s get started shall we?

9+Driftwood-Cathy Cassidy. Driftwood tells the story of two best friends, Hannah and Joey. When Joey changes her feelings for Hannah’s older brother Kit, Hannah feels like she is slowly slipping out of the loop. With the addition of three stray cats and Joey’s new foster-brother Paul, Hannah doesn’t know what to do. Why is Paul the only one she can trust? When he goes off the deep end, how can she save him if he doesn’t want to be saved? This book is a great read and will keep readers attached for days, or at least until they have finished the book. A touching story with four out of five stars from me.

13+I’d Tell You I Love You But Then I’d Have To Kill You-Ally Carter. This book joins Commie Morgan during her school life. It’s not just any old school life though. She goes to a school for spies. People speaking multiple languages and the dinner table and solving codes written in invisible ink is normal. During a CoveOps test, she meets someone. She meets a boy. Fighting off a secret enemy ir trying to defuse a bomb in thirty seconds sounds easy compared to what she’s going through now. Her most dangerous mission yet might just be falling in love. This book really had me glued to the pages of it. The wonders of love gripped me as I followed Cammie through her life at Gallagher Academy. This is the first book in a series of six but only five are out on sale yet. A wonderous read with a total of five out of five stars!

15+The Homecoming Masquerage-Spencer Baum. This Y.A. book has a lot of twists and turns. New girl Nicky shows up to the Homecoming Ball, wearing black. This means that she will be entered in the competition. The prize is for the girl who wins to become immortal (a vampire) and the loser, her first meal. This book covers the first of many challenges Nicky will have to come by. Loads of twists mean that you never know how it will end… This book comes under the Paranormal genre. Available on the kindle book store as are all of the Girls Wearing Black series. With five out of five stars from me, this book is one to watch out for along with the rest of its series.

Well, there you have it. There are today’s weekly recommendations.Comment if you have read it and what you think of them. Thanks guys!
